Find out more about your local wildlife. As a start, why not join a walk with your local Wildlife Trust, or take part in the Big Garden Bird Watch.
Repeating Challenge
Keep a list of all the wildlife species you see in or over your garden (birds, butterflies, mammals, insects etc). You may need to invest in a couple of (second hand!) wildlife books. If you share your home with others, keep the list somewhere where everybody can see and add to it – kids will love this!
One-hit Wonder
Join your local Natural History Society or a conservation society. Details of these will often be available in your local library.
